It’s been a really exciting few weeks since we last made our first blog post about skin loving little Bath Truffles!
We were busy making and planning for the Brides Up North Luxury Wedding fair at the breathtakingly beautiful, Wentworth Woodhouse, Georgian Palace. What an incredible place that is!
If you get a chance, go on one of their guided tours, I know I can’t wait to go back.
The build-up started well before the event, with making lots of skin loving little luxuries, from Bath Truffles, Himalayan Bath Soaks, Soaps and Bath Bombs.
Then there was the bespoke packaging to make and display to show a few ideas of what we can do.
I have to say I absolutely love my job and looking at coming up with new ideas to compliment a Wedding Day.
This is a shot of our display just before the event started with the lovely Fran sending out some social media posts. Once the event opened there was no time for taking photos.
It was a fabulous day meeting so many couples planning their weddings and meeting other suppliers, from florists, dress makers, bespoke wedding stationary and some mind blowing cakes.
We hope that if you popped along to the Luxury Wedding Exhibition you came and said Hello and that you had as great a day as we did!

In the spotlight, our skin loving little bath time treats, Bath Truffles!
Our skin loving Bath Truffles really do leave your skin feeling amazingly soft, moisturised, loved and to top all of this, they are delicately fragranced too. They are quite simply the ultimate indulgent Bath Time treat that no one should be without.
Here is why they are just, quite simply, fabulous! These Bath Truffles are made using very few ingredients, less is most definitely more with these little beauties and your skin will most definitely thank you for it. Moisturising and nourishing natural butters, a gorgeous and delicate fragrance, finally with a little fizz to finish them off - this perfect formula most definitely works.
We combine the most amazing Shea Butter, nourishing Cocoa Butter, Polysorbate 80, Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid and Parfum. I always think that it is nice to know a little more about what you are putting on your skin, so here is a little bit of information on each ingredient. Should you want to know more, drop me a line and I will happily elaborate where you need.
Shea Butter - Our Shea Butter is ethically sourced from a Ghanaian's Women's Project, not only does this support the local women who harvest, it also, promotes sustainability, which as we all know, is so very important. The Shea Tree's (where the nuts are harvested) are also known as the Karite Tree. The Trees start producing the first fruits when they are around 20 years old, but they need to work hard until they are 50 years old - this is where they reach their full production. Shea Butter is rich in Vitamins A, E, D, F and Cinnamic acid, it is super healing and incredibly nourishing.
Cocoa Butter - is also known as Theobroma Cacoa. This incredible Butter is a natural emollient and also a great source of natural Vitamin E. Cocoa Butter is hugely effective as a moisturiser, especially for those of you with dry skin. It nourishes and feeds your skin and has been used for many centuries as a natural moisturiser, also known to be remarkably soothing too.
Polysorbate 80 - is a biodegradable solubiser that allows the oils and water to mix together, this stops any oily blobs from floating around in your water. Polysorbate is widely used in Bath Oils, Salt and Sugar Scrubs and Bath Oils…but to name a few.
Citric Acid and Sodium Bicarbonate - both of these are added in a small but perfect amount to add a nice fizzing action to your Bath Truffle. This fizzing not only helps to relax, but it also helps to push the delicate fragrance around your Bathroom.
Parfum - this is the delicate blend of fragrance oils that are added to the Bath Truffles.
